Dalreavosh Lodge

You will be staying in Dalreavosh Lodge, which is located right next to the Brora river. In the right water level conditions, Brora holds plenty of middle salmon. There are several smaller lakes in the moorlands that all hold trout. No giants, but fun fishing with lighter equipment. It is not uncommon to see herds of deer during this time, and to simply be here when the heather blooms is an experience in and by itself.

You may combine salmon fishing in the river and fishing for trout in a number of lakes on the moors.

ACCOMMODATION

Guests stay in Dalreavoch Lodge, which is located only a stone's throw from the river. Here you stay in nice and fresh double rooms, with access to showers in the corridor.

After the day's fishing, dinner is enjoyed in the dining room, after which we gather over a glass of beer or whisky by the salon's open fireplace .

Balnacoil

Balnacoil Lodge right by Upper Brora. Unfortunately, the lodge has been sold, so accommodation is in Dalreavoch Lodge. We do, however, still have the fishing at our disposal.

Upper Brora is rich with salmon of all sizes. There are a couple of moorland lakes that offer a chance for fun trout fishing, but it is the salmon fishing that has made Balnacoil famous. It is not uncommon to see herds of deer during this time, and to simply be here when the heather blooms is an experience in and by itself.

If you wish, you may combine salmon fishing in the river and fishing for trout in the lakes we have at our disposal. And if you are real lucky, you may even be here for when the char rises in the hundreds.
